About Event

Since 2014 Hoopis Group has been involved in fundraising and volunteering for Ignite by helping to maintain the grounds, cooking meals, sponsoring their annual golf tournament and annual black-tie gala.

About Ignite

Ignite builds community, hope and opportunity for youth who are homeless. They address their immediate needs and help them achieve independence and stable housing.

Hurricane Maria Relief Drive

When Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, we started a drive to collect items to ship to one of our staff member’s family’s community of Lares, PR.

Greater Chicago Food Depository

The Hoopis Group Charity Club volunteered at the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Lurie Children’s Hospital

Hoopis Group raised funds through Lurie Children’s Circle of Friends program to support the work and leading-edge research taking place at Lurie Children’s each and every day.

MassMutual Foundation

In 2017, Paul Tokarz handed a $10,000 check to the school that helped to.

Ronald McDonald House

Hoopis Group Charity Club cooked meals for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House while being treated at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in November 2017, September 2018, and March 2019.

Blessings in a Backpack

We worked to pack over 500 bags of food for children in need at St. Malachy School in Chicago in June 2017.

Hoopis Group Charity Club members raised over $2,000 in 2017 and $1,650 in 2018 for PAWS Chicago while participating in the annual PAWS Chicago 5K each June.

Hoopis Group was named the best place to work for women under 35.
